"Tears In The Club" by FKA Twigs ft. The Weeknd does not imbue feelings in me;  there is no compathy. The first sound you hear is a whisper about tears. Although the track's theme centers around tears, this introduction feels unfitting to the rest of the track, and it is instead a strange entryway. There is nothing special or bold about the "Tears In The Club." There are a few changes. There is a lack of a melodic body or a powerful hook. Everything, vocals to instrumental, stood on the same boring keel. The song was background music, to which I forgot I was listening. "Tears In The Club" failed to be bold, defiant, fun-loving, or warm. It failed to truly express its sorrow. It is just there: another song to listen to, and then, next. I commend the artists for putting themselves out there. That is the hardest part.
