For "I've Gotten Good" by Priscilla Block , I wanted it to be good, wishing "Damn! I've gotten good" was about the vocals, the lyrics, and the instrumental. However, this track falls flat from the onset. The beginning instrumental sounds like royalty-free music. When the vocals finally come in, she is about the instrumental.  Priscilla Block 's vocals and the instrumental are on the same loud level, with no modulation. However, within ten seconds, "West Coast" by OneRepublic proves it is not. The vocals are nasally and whiny, as if the vocalist is crying about the west instead of reveling. There are no modulations in his voice, save for the end with a pathetic falsetto. Throughout, the vocals are the same boxy, congested flow: da-da-da-da.
