Fax. 📠 "This shit didn't happen overnight." "Results Take Time" by Bay rapper, Symba is swag and consciousness. It's akin to one of the best times in Hip Hop, when beats were hard-hitting and lyrics scintillating, the early 90s. And in this millennium, where unfortunate deaths and the Soundcloud rapper's experimentations take out some prime lyricists — Cough.Ka.Takeoff.cough — "Results Take Time" is an album the Hip Hop community needed. ...

To listen to a new track is like starting a new relationship. One doesn't know if one wants to commit to press play. Pressing play may lead to immense disappointment or to being obsessed, the song never leaving one's mind. Playing "Jimmy Cook" by Drake, featuring 21 Savage, leaves this listener with no regrets. Drake is renowned for his ability to produce chart-topping tracks that are entertaining and that BANGS! Thirty seconds into "Jimmy Cook," one would want to do two things: restart the track or bop one's head like a mad person. "Jimmy Cook" bumps and rocks.
The production is clear and concise: there's no fuss, no extra flares, only a nice kick, bass, and incredible hook/bridge. The instrumental is club-worthy. Without a second thought, the listener will turn their volume up. The gut feels the bass, and the gut blow encourages one to move and dance. The hook is smooth and catchy -- "gotta throw a party for my day ones" -- but what's so intriguing about the hook is that it's also a bridge, a bridge to a more entertaining version of the original beat, and a bridge to21 Savage, who steals all songs to which he's featured. What a way to come in, 21, "You're a pusssssy." 21's fun and visual lyrics, "Spin a block twice like it ain't nowhere to park," bring color and personality to the song. And Drake is intelligent enough to let 21 go on for almost two minutes. It's strange to say that a track is gangsta- speaking of guns and exploits with women explicitly- while also making the listener want to dance, but welcome to Drake's world. Overall, this track is fun, entertaining, and blazin’.
